Fragrance of Spring
By George Nunley
"For lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; The
flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of
birds is come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in
our land; The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the
vines with tender grapes give a good smell. Arise, my
love, my fair one, and come away". (Song of Solomon
2:11-13).............For lo the winter is past, praise the
Lord, saints. The Spirit of God is saying our winter
season is past. Winter is a time when the seed lies
dormant. Nothing seems to be bearing fruit in nature.
Winter, although it has its purpose, is like a type of
judgment. It is harder on man and beast, and many
animals die during winter because of cold and malnutrition.
So winter represents a time of trial when we've been
operating in survival mode, just holding on and waiting for
God to move, to do something we've been waiting and
believing Him to do. So know that winter is past, it's
now the breaking of spring when nearly all of creation
begins to break forth and reproduce, a time of new growth
and planting for a new harvest. The flowers appear in
the land...ministries blooming and bringing forth a new
fragrance (anointing). The time of the singing of
birds is come....ministries who are singing a new
song...declaring the Gospel of the Kingdom to everyone who
has an ear to hear. The voice of the turtledove is
heard in our land....the Holy Ghost, the voice of God is
speaking through His mouthpieces, the apostles, prophets,
evangelists, pastors and teachers, which is the voice of the
Bridegroom calling to his Bride....Arise, my love, my fair
one, and come away. There is a people who have ears to
hear, who are hearing His voice. They turn (change) to
see the voice that is speaking with them, as John did in
Revelation, Chapter one. And when they behold Him and
see Him just as He is, they are being changed into the very
same image (1 John 3:2 and 2 Cor. 3:18). Paul said the
whole creation waiteth with earnest expectation for the
manifestation (the unveiling of what already exists) of the
sons of God. (Rom. 8:19). God has been preparing
us for rulership in this winter season, a time of great
trials and perseverance, and upon those who have passed the
test of fire He is preparing to release a new anointing,
which will give us great authority to accomplish His will.
So be encouraged, dear ones, you who have suffered long, for
God is about to turn your mourning into dancing, and your
sorrow into joy (Ps.30:11). When you see the glory of
the Lord breaking forth on your right hand and on your left,
you will no longer remember the pain, because Joy will have
taken its place. AMEN
Father We Bless You!
